Acute left ventricular failure management: Was originally IPODMAN but became IPODMANC as the last step is probably most important!

Posture: sit up

Oxygen: 100% via non-rebreathe mask (consider COPD)

Diuretics: 40mg frusemide

Morphine: 2.5mg PRN diamorphine IV

Anti-emetic: metoclopramide 2mg IV

Nitrates: Sublingual or IV

Call help!

Morphine: diamorphine 2.5mg PRN IV

Oxygen: 100% via non-rebreathe

Nitrates: sublingual or IV
