This two part anatomy book is in my opinion the best anatomy book that is out there if you are looking for clear illustrations. This is with out a doubt the best, most detailed, most accurate and well drawn atlas available. The quality of the artwork is incredible - far superior to those atlases which rely on photographs. It has many different angles and options when looking for a specific detail. In the end you'll always need this atlas, so why not get it right now? You wont regret it!

I’d recommend Sobotta to any student who wants an atlas they can use both while in medical school and in their future career. It is an excellent reference for several reasons. First and foremost, it strikes an excellent balance between naturalism and stylization, which makes the illustrations easy to understand while keeping them true to life. Secondly, finding the plate you’re looking for is actually easy, thanks to the new navigation system. That said, as a study companion I’d look into the new Gray’s Atlas of Anatomy if one needs more reference than the illustrations already provided in the textbooks.
