This book is to be commended for its layout. The book consists of three sections, and also includes great revision material (MCQs, EMQs and SAQs) parts.
The first concentrates on the clinical presentation of infectious diseases, from pyrexia of unknown origin to diarrhoea. This is great for PBL scenarios.
The second section focuses on the ASSPIT of the major infectious diseases (e.g. malaria, TB, endocarditis, STI) and provides a thorough overview of a large area of medicine.
In summary, this book does exactly what it says on the tin and summarises infectious disease into an easily readable format. Great for revision purposes.
