Having used the accompanying textbook I was thrilled to have found these flashcards. Anatomy isn’t the easiest subject in the world to learn (or necessarily the most interesting!). However, these cards make revision a much more bearable and fun process! I love the fact that the cards are laid out in a really easy to read format with simple, colourful diagrams and colour-coded sections that makes accessing the desired topic quick and simple. I was pleased to note that the page references to the text book were included on each card so that you can easily find out more information on that particular topic. The flashcards have online access to the brilliant ‘student consult’ website – this without a doubt is an additional asset to an already brilliant learning resource! Overall I cannot recommend these flashcards enough! My only problem with them is that I did not find them sooner!

In my opinion this took the best parts of Gray’s and turned it into an excellent revision aid. The best parts of Gray’s are the diagrams as they are clear and concise. I have found that these flashcards have played a vital role in my learning of anatomy as they have allowed me to construct images in my head of the various parts of the body that I have so far studied, which I am able to refer back to. I have found that often an image of an anatomy is much easier to understand and remember than a wordy description. The flash cards allow you to instantly realise if you know your anatomy or if you need to put in some extra work. I also found the clinical questions on the back of the cards useful for applying my anatomical knowledge to clinical situations.
