When I first looked at the title Netter's Anatomy Colouring Book I was a little skeptical of the books content....its a colouring book after all isn't it? Upon further inspection I've found it to be a brilliant book! I currently study at Queen's Belfast and it would be a book I would definitely recommend to any first or second year. The book covers most of the anatomy and microanatomy covered in Phase one and two of the course. Colouring in the pictures is actually a very enjoyable way to learn, particularly if your not in the mood to look at your anatomy notes....its not too taxing to spend ten minutes colouring in a picture and in the process you learn some anatomy. There are great clinical notes in this book - they're wee things but there the things that help you to bring all your knowledge together. Its also easy to manage because theres only a double page spread on most topics. I especially like the introductions on each page, there in simple and easy to understand language and offer a genuine explanation of what your learning about on that page. Theres quite alot of detail on the writing pages which is great if you don't always get the time to make your own notes!! The book is not expensive at around £10 and I would recommend buying it to any medical student!

I give this a buyer rating of 5/5. The best value book I own. At £10 this book is amazing. Anatomy, anatomy, anatomy. Pure anatomy. Beautifully illustrated and includes summary tables, annotations regarding function and if that’s not enough – Clinical notes included! I am not a fan of colouring but I still study from it, usually just before a theatre session. However, if you don’t like it give it to your kid sibling/cousin… its good to start early! Enjoy, Latifa (“,)
