Students in their pre-clinical years will find this book an excellent and thorough introduction to the renal system. It gives a very complete and comprehensive outline and is very well illustrated. It also covers a good number of systemic conditions that interact with the renal system. Finally, a dozen clinical scenarios give you an opportunity to check your understanding.
